The app is okay, but there are some issues. The settings are accessed by double tapping the background, and I find that I often accidentally bring up the settings and change the size and location if the clock. Also, I was initially able to set a photo from my gallery as the background, but this stopped working after an Android update. For a while had to use either the default background, which I don't like, or use a solid color. After writing this review I tried using a picture as a background, and now it works, so I upgraded my rating from 4 to 5 stars.

When you started to experience issues with setting image from gallery? Which messages/errors did you seen when choose an image from gallery? Are you granted read-write permissions? Great that it works now!

Love the look of the clock and the many options so I bought the Pro version. The one problem I have is when I use my own background (which has to be done before the clock app is launched) - when I restart my phone the screen background is black and I have to do the process all over again. Am I doing something wrong? UPDATE: Thanks to Developer's response, realized the picture needs to be in local file storage, not on the SD card. Thanks! Rating changed to 5 from 4; I *love* this app! 😁

Could you please write from which source the image (internal memory or SD card, or cloud storage). Does this problem appear also with the image from internal memory?

I never needed a 'learning curve' for an app but I seemed to for this one. Now that I'm more familiar with it I'm less impatient. Could use some intuitiveness in the UI design, a cleaner dashboard, intensity setting instead of all-or-nothing transparency, an 'OK' button instead of 'Set as wallpaper,' a reminder to delete the free version after buying pro--I wondered why the ads kept showing, and to auto hide the wallpaper clock' when making changes. I have two clocks showing when I do edits.

I answered in the email. What do you mean by "auto hide the wallpaper clock' when making changes" and "two clocks showing when I do edits"? Could you send the video capture to the developer's email?
